From experience gained in life, forwarding on the knowledge to our youth to help them live their best possible life!
Inspire Change Crew
was founded by two foster carers Belinda and Callum Baxter, who over the years have cared for 13 children full time and continuously undertake many emergency placements. Joined with other like minded people, we have built a team committed to guiding our younger generations into a healthy and prosperous life!
We currently run hands on experience and drop in days at a local community youth centre here in Hastings, Melbourne VIC. We provide a wide range of support programs for our youth, for example:

Music lessons, including - Instrumental, vocals as well as sound engineering, with the use of music software and DJ hardware

Online gaming and streaming/pod cast knowledge

Hands on mechanical and other trade skills with our fully qualified diesel mechanic and other local buinsess owners

First AID practices and training

Navigation and field knowledge for those who are interested in
pursuing a career in SES or Defence (provided by two of our ex defence members and current CFA staff)

BMX coaching at indoor and outdoor parks
Those examples are only just scratching the surface of what we provide. We also have many sponsors that provide the chance for work experience ranging from trades to health care services.
We are also here to help anyone that might not know how to enquire into something that they may be interested in. We will help with the research needed to either start courses or even to practice for a specific course. With the right guidance from our life coaches we are committed to giving our youth the best possible push in what ever directions they may need to go!

Our mission is to help young people recognise that certain influences such as involvement in crime, bullying or unsafe behaviours can limit their opportunities and future success. Instead, we aim to show them how their energy, interests and talents can be redirected into productive pathways and real career options.

To help visualise the types of shifts we encourage, here are a few examples:

​Young people who feel drawn to fast-paced or high-adrenaline environments may thrive in structured, purpose-driven fields such as the defence forces or emergency services, instead of falling into gangs or remaining in them.

Others who express themselves through graffiti can develop their artistic skills through creative programs that turn their talent into legitimate opportunities e.g Getting sanctioned work as a Graffiti artist or eventually owning their very own tattoo shop.

Youth who enjoy motorcycles or action sports can pursue training, stunt riding or join established teams to develop their skills safely and professionally, keeping our youth and people on the streets safe providing them the chance to pursue in a safer environment.

Young people interested in physical challenges can explore sports such as boxing or mixed martial arts, rather than engaging in harmful behaviours that impact both themselves and others.
