Callum and Bindi are the Founders of Inspire Change Crew, an organisation dedicated to inspiring and supporting young people through action sports, mentoring and community programs. Together they bring a powerful combination of lived experience, professional skills and a deep passion for creating positive pathways for young people facing adversity.

Callum is the Director of Inspire Change Crew’s FMX and BMX action sports shows and leads the delivery of high energy performances that engage and inspire communities across Victoria and beyond. Through these shows, Callum coordinates professional freestyle FMX and BMX athletes while creating an exciting platform that captures the attention of young people and opens the door to positive conversations about life choices, resilience and community.

Alongside this role, Callum is a qualified diesel mechanic with over 20 years of industry experience. His practical skills and passion for hands on learning allow him to mentor young people in a way that builds confidence, responsibility and practical life skills. Callum has extensive experience connecting with disengaged youth and young people with complex needs and behavioural challenges. By using tools, mechanical work, action sports and practical problem solving, he is able to build trust and create opportunities for young people to experience achievement and purpose.

Bindi the Co Founder,  serves as the Youth and Community Programs Director and brings over 18 years of experience working both personally and professionally with young people. Her work has been shaped by a strong belief that every young person deserves to feel seen, heard and supported.

As a mother and foster carer raising 13 children and regularly supporting emergency placements, Bindi has gained firsthand insight into the complex realities many young people face. Through these experiences she has worked closely with children and teenagers navigating trauma, family instability, behavioural challenges, school disengagement and mental health struggles. This has given her a deep understanding of the importance of stability, positive role models and safe environments where young people can build trust and confidence.

Professionally, Bindi has extensive experience engaging with young people with complex needs and has undertaken training and practical work in areas such as youth engagement, trauma informed care, behaviour support, crisis response and community mentoring. Over many years she has built strong relationships with young people, families, schools, community services and local organisations to help provide meaningful support pathways for youth at risk.

Together, Callum and Bindi work closely to develop and deliver Inspire Change Crew’s youth and community programs. Bindi leads the development of mentoring initiatives, outreach programs, youth engagement activities and community partnerships, while Callum provides practical mentorship, hands on trade experiences and leadership through action sports.

Their programs include youth mentoring, BMX coaching, trade experience days, motivational workshops and community connection events. These initiatives are designed to provide young people with positive role models, practical life skills and opportunities to build resilience, confidence and a sense of belonging.

A significant part of their work also involves youth outreach and direct support. Callum and Bindi regularly connect with young people and families in crisis, providing one on one mentoring, guidance and practical support. They assist young people to re engage with education, training or employment pathways and help link families with appropriate services and community support networks.

Beyond program delivery, they work closely with schools, community organisations, sponsors and volunteers to build strong partnerships that expand the reach and impact of Inspire Change Crew.

At the heart of Callum and Bindi’s work is a shared belief that when young people are surrounded by positive mentors, strong community connections and meaningful opportunities, they are capable of overcoming adversity and building positive futures.
